CyberLock High-Security Electronic Locks Work

Crime is everywhere and we all try to have the best locks on our doors. I came across this product that I thought would be a benifit yo your home.

CyberLock provides electronic access control and accountability solutions nearly anywhere a mechanical lock is present. Each CyberLock cylinder is an electronic version of a standard mechanical lock cylinder. Retrofitting lock hardware is as simple as removing a mechanical lock’s key-cylinder and replacing it with the electronic cylinder.

With over 270 electronic lock cylinder designs, CyberLocks are used all over the world to secure interior and exterior doors and cabinets, audit container and cargo activity, manage access to computer carts and servers, and protect cash in transit fare boxes, ATM, gaming, and vending equipment. CyberLock electronic cylinders, programmable keys, and access management software offer a variety of solutions that can quickly provide the physical security and key control an organization needs.

CyberLock provides tight control of overall access as each person’s key can be programmed with the specific access permissions they need to do their job; what locks they can open, and when. Both the electronic key and lock record openings and exceptions including unauthorized attempts to enter. This detailed audit reporting and email alerts increase accountability and can be valuable when management needs to know who and when someone has accessed an area.

The system’s electronic keys cannot be duplicated or copied at the local hardware store which literally erases the threat of unknown keys in circulation. If someone loses a key it can be quickly blocked from accessing any locks. Once installed, CyberLock completely eliminates the time and considerable expense of re-keying a facility.

iPhone 4 soon to get BIG 58″ Table Top Facelift

Ok remember the BIG piano keys that Tom Hanks jumped on in the movie BIG or the table used in Iron Man 2 with its interacive iPhone look.

Well wait no more, the Table Connect for iPhone is a 58-inch multitouch surface that is compatible with Apples  iOS4  and the iPhone 4 & iPhone 3Gs and connects via a standard Dock Connector that  then becomes your VERY BIG iPhone.

The entire content of the iPhone’s screen will be projected onto the multitouch table, still giving full access to all the touch gestures using multitouch technology. So cool!

Think it will fit in Santa’s sleigh. It’s off the chart, and I want one for Christmas.

This magic comes from It comes from the  gang at http://iphonetable.blogspot.com who are  currently wrapping up a video demo online and the alpha software release. But here is a glitch for many of you iPhone users, your  iPhone needs to be jailbroken to work with Table Connect. Wait don’t worry, a jailbreak is perfectly legal, but you always modify your iPhone’s content at your own risk. Not Apple approved!

The website also states *We apologize that the original iPhone (“2G”) & the iPhone 3G are not working with Table Connect due to slow processing power. Gee what does this table use for power a Flux Capistor.

This could be a hoot,  but with no price yet or release date , when it does come out it will probally so expensive that only the rich who have to have now will get one. But to think of it I think Bill Gates has one like it all ready running Windows 7.  Lets see if it will be shown at CES 2011 in Las Vegas.  For more information, pictures and diagrams go to http://iphonetable.blogspot.com.

My PS3 hard drive upgrade, crashs!

I have too many friends that seem to have the same problem after they upgrade their PS3 firmware, including me just a few days ago.

Courtsy of playstationlifestyle.net

Sony’s PS3 Firmware 3.41 mandatory update from July 27th, 2010 added a new “You May Like” section to the popular PlayStation Store. But as I said above, it’s caused problems during the hard drive console upgrade.

According to my friends the TV screen flashes a “no applicable data” error after trying to install the update, which  left them with a non-working PS3 and, in 3 cases cases, a corrupted original drive. In my case the update installed fine,  but when the PS3 restarted I lost the ability to use my wireless feature. This meant no  game controllers or TV remote. Let me tell you that really made me mad, and made the PS3 into a over-sized paper weight.

More research shows that the issue may have something to do with a newly discovered feature of the 3.41 update that allows for more incremental patches. That would explain why the problem only seems to be affecting PS3s where the firmware is stored on the hard drive instead of the system’s memory.

After cooling off I found out that Sony has not fixes yet, so I did the next best thing.

I went into the system folder on my home screen and clicked on restore to original configuration.

The system rebooted and for now my game controllers work but my TV remote  so so much.

I will get back to you if I find a more complete solution. Or if you have one  comm your idea below.

ACTIVISION’S UPDATED CLASSIC GOLDENEYE 007 FOR Wii ROCKS E3

GoldenEye for the N64 is quite frankly the godfather of all four-player split-screen multi-player game from 1997 that that sold over eight million copies and produced has a legion of passionate fans worldwide, is coming back better than ever. If you don’t remember the game check out  my game pictures I shot when I heard the great news.

I reviewed GoldenEye 007 in 1997 in my “Video Game of the Week” Miami Herald/Knight Wire Syndicated video game column. It was my all time favorite game to review, when I could wrestle it from my nephew’s who love even to this day to play in multi-player mode.

Well enough of the classic love  fest, James Bond is back in Activision’s new updated GoldenEye 007, which was unveiled at Nintendo’s press briefing, during the Electronic Entertainment Exposition (E3) in Los Angeles.

The above game trailer shows a promise of things too come. But regardless it will be hard to beat the original game play and the staying power of the the best cartridge game system ever made. How do I know, mine still works after 13 years!

Here are the facts, it’s developed exclusively for Wii and based on the GoldeneEye film, GoldenEye 007 gives players the chance to use the lethal, gritty style of Daniel Craig’s James Bond (should have left Pierce Bronson in) as Bond to outwit, outmaneuver and overtake an arms syndicate that threatens the world in an innovative, modern take on the legendary GoldenEye movie adventure.

GoldenEye 007 for the N64 was one of the most acclaimed games and fans regularly cite it as one of the most influential and important titles in history,” said David Pokress, Head of Marketing for Licensed Properties, Activision Publishing. “We’re thrilled to bring the new GoldenEye 007 to gamers around the world as an all-new adventure that seamlessly integrates nostalgic GoldenEye movie moments with innovative FPS gameplay and unique multiplayer action that is unrivaled on the platform.”

GoldenEye 007 features an unprecedented lineup of four-player split-screen MP options that encourage social gaming, including 40 total characters, 8 classic Bond characters, 5 maps, 3 standard modes and 16 special modifiers that allow gamers to create hundreds of game combinations. GoldenEye 007 also features online multi-player for up to 8 players designed for seasoned FPS online gamers with unique modes and a robust XP system for unlockables and achievements. GoldenEye 007 also supports the Classic Controller Pro for gamers who want to play with standard FPS controls and the Wii Zapper for “point and shoot” gamers; players will have several control scheme options, allowing them to experience GoldenEye 007 on Wii any way they want.
