Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, The Rock, The Ultimate Warrior and Dusty Rhodes are names that made Television and Pay-Per-View history in battle at WrestleMaina during the past 25 years.

Now THQ and JAKKS Pacific, Inc have just announced WWE Legends of WrestleMania will be released on March 24, 2009 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The games release date coincides with WrestleMania 25 on April 5^th in Houston, Texas. (See game trailer down in the post).

The official roster for WWE Legends of WrestleMania, is based on World Wrestling Entertainment, formally known as the WWF World Wrestling Federation. Featuring more than 40 legendary Superstars and managers, along with arcade style gameplay and historic, vintage presentation. WWE Legends of WrestleMania will embrace the leading sports entertainment organization’s rich history to relive, rewrite or redefine the definitive elements of WWE from the Eighties and Nineties.

FEATURES:

Players will experience the entertaining lives of 40 larger-than-life Legends and have control over Legendary Managers, each of whom will play crucial roles in match outcomes. The game’s new grapple-based fighting system will capture the high-energy action and drama seen in vintage WWE matches, while a historically accurate representation of past WWE telecasts will set the stage, including dynamic visual treatments, signature ring entrances and notable venues.

WWE Legends of WrestleMania will also include a WrestleMania Tour Mode that allows players to participate in key matches from multiple WrestleMania events; a Create-a-Legend system to develop the Legends of tomorrow; as well as connectivity with WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009, which will enable owners of both videogames to match up Legends with the Superstars of today. In addition, online functionality will allow players to compete on the biggest stages in WWE history.

Sylvania ECOlight – Water Powered Shower Light

You know the drill: You wake up and go to the shower and you turn it on. Now you risk burning your hand under the running water just to see if you’ve set the right temperature. Well that’s history my friends, if you use the Sylvania ECOlight.

If you can change your shower head, then the space age device will be easily installed on most shower heads. It features a bright LED light and an illuminated ring that will change color, depending on the temperature of the water.

Blue indicates water that is 78 degrees Fahrenheit or less, while red indicates a temperature over 105.8. The coolest thing is both lights are powered by the flow of water using a micro built-in generator.

No batteries or external power sources needed ever.

The led light is great if you have no light in the shower area of if you lost electrical power and don’t want to hold a flashlight. But remember you will only get hot water when the power is out, if you have a natural gas water heater.

Best thing is that you won’t waste water waiting as you wait to see if it’s hot.

H2O powers Jetpack for Hours

I want one of these, don’t you?

Remember in Lost in Space, Prof. John Robinson flew around a desert planet looking for the lost Chariot SUV.

Ok maybe not, but jet packs have been around since the 1930s in both reality and sci-fi, but there’s always been one problem: They run out of rocket fuel super fast.

(See some fun facts about the jet packs below).

A German company has an alternative fuel: Water, lots of it.

Called the JetLev-Flyer, the German design can at best reach a height of 50 feet, a speed of 45 mph and a range of 186 miles, based on four hours of flying time. You need a big body of water to make this puppy go.

MS Watersports GmbH of Itzehoe, near Hamburg in northern Germany, takes the standard oil-based jetpack design and runs a ugly fat yellow hose out the back.

The hose connects to a small unmanned boat, which houses an engine, pump and fuel tank and sends pressurized water back up the hose, where it’s shot out by two nozzles just behind the wearer’s shoulders.

But hold on, did I say it uses fuel? Maybe not the jet pack, but the engine does. Guess they are still working on that part of the jet pack.

COST

It won’t be cheap, so if your one of those must have it gadget guys and still have extra cash under your mattress, then go for it.

The company is taking orders, but be ready to shell out 100,000 euro, or $130,000 at today’s exchange rates.

That price does include training.

What is a Jet Pack?

A Jet pack is a personal transport vehicle that enables a single individual to fly using a device strapped to the back that ‘expels gasses’. Though the technology is not very practical, it became popular in science fiction in both television and movies.

Swiss pilot Yves Rossy (the Jet Man) became the first man to fly across the English Channel using a jet-propelled wing attached to his back on September 24, 2008.

In the 2008 Iron Man movie, Iron Man doesn’t wear a jet pack as he becomes a jet pack. The rocket thrust comes from the bottoms of his feet. Way cool if you ask me.

CES 2009: M&M’s for your ears, almost!

LAS VEGAS – Maxell famous for iPod accessories, blank DVDs and other gadgets, now has a product that melts in your mouth.

No just kidding, the M&M’s candy-looking ear buds, was one of the fun portable electronics I saw at CES 2009.

The company teamed with candy company Mars to unveil M&M’S Stereo Ear Buds in the Maxell booth.

The clever eye catching packaging, might confuse young kids. It has an inscription saying ‘Sweet Sounds’, which in an attempt to classify the product as music and not the mmmmmm melt in our mouths candies.

Then there is another warning ‘Not candy’, which won’t help you if you grab one at the check put aisle. You’ll probably end up scratching your head, wondering what in the world is this doing in an electronic store!

Just like the real candy, these buds come in multiple colors: Red, pink, blue, orange, and white.

Makes a cute Valentine’s gift, but you probably need to put a warning on it, saying “Do not eat me”!

At $10, they’re super cheap, it does say “Not candy!” but could be choking hazard for the home with a curious toddler. Parents need to watch what their very young kids put into there mouths and ears.

A definite collector’s item for people who love to collect M&M branded products. And it will not be surprising if a large part of that demand are from kids and teens.
